A classic Central Valley home designed by the renowned architect William Wurster is the setting for this playful adaptation of the original residential theme. The new owners desired a patio entertainment space and a venue for their eclectic collection of art and memorabilia many of which were architectural components.
Recycled copper roofing, salvaged wood doors, windows, and hardware, antique lighting and ceiling fans, reclaimed wood, historic signage. All items the Owner’s wished to incorporate into the new structure, while acknowledging the heritage of the original Wurster design.
The result is a playful yet respectful building is a testament to the Owners and their enthusiasm for architectural history.
