LDA designed this new, two-story, 22,000 SF Federal holding facility for illegal immigrant deportation processing. Located on a redevelopment site in an existing office park, adjacent to the Stockton Deep Water Channel, security was of the upmost importance. Given LDA’s familiarity with this development area, through other projects completed, LDA was exceptionally knowledgeable about the site’s planning and security challenges. LDA designed a facility that not only met the Federal functional program and security requirements, but also kept the operations of this facility completely separate from the adjacent office complexes.
