The Lolly Hansen Senior Center offers a wide variety of classes, activities, special events and social service programs to anyone 50+. The senior center is an active place with a positive atmosphere. The City of Tracy hired LDA Partners to create an addition as well as update the existing building. LDA organized and administered the community meetings, as well as the programming, design concepts, construction drawings and construction administration.
LDA remodeled the following areas: divisible assembly hall/gym space, commercial kitchen, computer room, restrooms, lounge, office, reception, and classroom. To provide better social programs and accommodate the increased use of the facility, the addition included the extension of the assembly hall, 2 classrooms / activity rooms, and a covered patio. By creating these new spaces, the Senior Center is able to provide better engagement and overall experience with visitors.
